Veronika Holomanova of Queens Park is a winner when it comes to making people beautiful.

She was runner-up in the finals of the national Jane Iredale Make-up competition on at The Savoy Hotel, London on June 15th

Wishing her well is local Jane Iredale stockist Roxanne Lafratta of Kempston and Melissa Peacock of Bedford College, where Veronica had been in training.

Veronika, aged 30 from Slovakia, joined the part-time course in make-up and Melissa immediately recognised her potential: “She is so talented that I thought we must enter her for a competition and with the guidance of one of our former students Roxanne, in the special qualities of Jane Iredale cosmetics, she was one of only six to get through to the national finals.”

Added Melissa: “Hair and beauty is such a flexible career. People can join us for full-time, part-time or apprenticeship courses and progress on to working for a salon or spa, perhaps later working for themselves, as Roxanne has done with great success.”

“It is a booming business world-wide and locally as hair and beauty treatments are something which women never give up, and, young men are increasingly aware of the benefits of making the most of themselves.”
