Links with employers and progression into employment are key to the success of Bedford College and its students. Courses include practical experience which prepares people for the world of work.

Courses at Bedford College include apprenticeships and training for careers caring for children and elderly people.

Assistant Director Karen Campbell said: “This is a hugely growing area of employment which offers people the chance for full-time and part-time jobs”.

“There are opportunities for promotion into social care management, with supporting Higher Education qualifications, and equally for those who want to retrain in a career which is in keeping with their family commitments.”
