Photography heights

Thursday 7 July 2016

Dominika Ziveliene was put in the picture when she won a £500 prize for photographing a refurbished business centre at Bedford Heights.

She and fellow photography students of Bedford College were invited to submit portfolios of work by centre owner: Verve Properties.

Their work was praised at the official launch of the new look premises and Dominika was announced as the winner.

The complex was built for international company Texas Instruments in 1960 and was a futuristic environment for employment in Bedford. Today it houses more than 70 companies and their 1,000 employees.

Bedford College lecturer Zoe Plummer took the official photographs on the night which were used in local press coverage. Some of the work by students will be used in Verve literature to promote the business site.
