Advances in modern engineering are mirrored at Bedford College and demonstrated by successful apprenticeship partnerships with leading companies.

Young people are being prepared for the new world of work with a combination of quality employment experiences and college class and practical studies.

At a recent event, parents from across Bedfordshire were able to witness the care taken by Bedford College to help young people into satisfying jobs with great prospects.

Wady’s Electrical, who have been trading in Bedford for more than 50 years

Airlander Hybrid Vehicles who have been in the national news and have featured Bedford College apprentices on their company film.

Edmundson Electrical in Hudson Road are one of a nation-wide organisation offering a wide range of careers.

Bourns of Bedford Heights have been a leading global supplier of high quality electronic components. 

Axis Electronics, also of Bedford Heights, works with aerospace, oil and gas, defence and other industries.

Lockheed Martin is an international organisation with a base at Ampthill and apprentices who study at Bedford College.

Acuigen is an innovative market research company, at the Innovation Centre in Cranfield.

Vauxhall of Luton works closely with Bedford College with apprentices across many disciplines.
