What can I do at an Open Day?
Whether you’ve already applied or have no idea what you want to study yet, our Open Days are perfect for you! Tutors will be on hand to explain in depth about courses and our Student Services team will also be there to offer advice on careers, transport, finance, wellbeing and more.

How do I get to Shuttleworth?
Shuttleworth College is two miles due west of the A1 where it bypasses Biggleswade, approximately 30 miles from Junction 23 on the M25. From the A1 take the westbound exit at the Biggleswade north roundabout. Continue straight on, following the signs to Shuttleworth College. Access to the College is via the entrance in the village of Old Warden. Check our further directions available.

How long do tours last?
At Shuttleworth, due to the size of the campus, tours of the facilities can last up to 45 minutes so please arrive early. Our Animal Sciences tours (running every 20 minutes or so) are the most popular and therefore require a ticket for every person in the group. You can collect your tour ticket(s) when you register your attendance on the day itself. Equine Management tours (running every hour) also require a ticket for every person as there is a short minibus ride to the facility. Timings of our tours will be revealed shortly.

Is parking free?
Parking at Shuttleworth is free and there is plenty of space.

What subject areas will be represented?
Every subject area we offer at the College will be in attendance at the Open Day. For a full list, check out the subjects we offer.

You will be able to apply on the day, and staff will be on hand to help you, or if you prefer, you can also apply online when you get home.

Do I have to pre-register to be able to come?
Everyone is welcome at our Open Days whether you’ve pre-registered or not! By pre-registering you get the benefit of beating the queues as you won’t have to fill out a registration card when you arrive.
