Advance to Further Education

Advance to Further Education is a fantastic full-time programme designed to provide you with transferable study skills, confidence, and resilience to enable you to go on to further education or higher education or into a new place through the apprenticeship route. We offer the courses from level 1 to level 3 depending on your current qualifications and assessment outcomes.

The curriculum consists of a range of topics to provide you with the opportunity to develop skills in areas such as literacy, numeracy, ICT, learning to learn and personal development. If you do not have a GCSE 1 to 4 in maths and English we will work with you to develop your core skills. There are one-to-one review sessions to guide you through to achievement.

  • Evidence of working at high school level.
  • Level 1: Evidence of working at GCSE level.
  • Level 2: Functional skills English L1 or working towards level 1.
  • Level 3: GCSE English grade 4 or  L2 Functional skills.

  • Main qualification is assignment work.


Award to progression Level 1 to 3 depending on your QOE
