Bricklaying CSkills Awards Level 2 Diploma
This course will provide you with the practical skills, knowledge and experience you will require to competently carry out a range of bricklaying work to the standards set by the industry enabling you to gain a good understanding of the trade.

Entry requirements
To start this course you will require:
Diploma in Bricklaying Level 1
Entry is subject to a successful interview where you will be asked to complete a skills assessment.
Course content
This course will cover:
- How to carry out safe working practices in construction
- Knowledge of information, quantities and communicating with others.
Assessment methods
Your tutor/assessor will provide oral and written feedback continuously throughout the course.
Your skills and knowledge are measured against the National Standards as the units are completed.
Further study and career options
Bricklaying Level 3, an NVQ or you can seek employment as a bricklayer.
Additional information
At interview, you will be asked to complete a skills assessment.
Pay by instalments
The College offers an instalment plan for Further Education and Higher Education courses to students where the total amount payable at the point of enrolment is £200 or more. Within the scheme there is an ability to pay up to 6 instalments, depending on the length of the courses and the final payment must be paid at least a month before the end of the course.
