Hairdressing Advanced (Level 3)
This level 3 qualification is ideal if you have completed NVQ or VRQ level 2 hairdressing and wish to develop your skills and knowledge of the hairdressing industry whilst working within the commercial salon of Brooks.

- English and maths:
If you don't already have GCSE English and maths grade A*-C, we will work with you to help you develop your maths and English skills.
- Personal development skills, study skills and employability skills
- Additional vocational learning and qualifications
Assessment methods
Practical assessments on paying clients in our bespoke salon with online exams at the end of each unit with the addition of assignments.
Qualifications
Hairdressing City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma
Plus English and maths qualifications if required
Further study and career options
On successful completion of this study programme a candidate can progress to: Beauty courses, Media Make-up, assessing and teaching progressions available through the College; Salon Management available through selected University options; Progression to senior stylist level, salon management, Rep technician, session stylist, artistic director.

You will be required to pay £25 for your uniform and £200 for your professional kit
Funding information
All full-time Level 1 and Level 2 courses are now FREE for everyone, whatever their age. If you are looking to study a Level 3 qualification, courses are still free if you’re under 19 or 19-23 and studying your first full Level 3 qualification.
