Plumbing & Heating City & Guilds 6189-74 Level 2 Diploma

The Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing 6189-74 is a workplace qualification which gives you a full NVQ in Plumbing.  It is the minimum qualification required to work within the Plumbing and Heating Industry.  Once gained you are a qualified plumber and heating engineer.  The course will also allow you to progress to Level 3 or other pathways within the industry.

Entry requirements

The Plumbing Diploma 6129-22 is required to commence this qualification.

Course content

This course will cover:

  • Cold water system
  • Domestic hot water systems
  • Sanitation systems (above ground only)
  • Hot water heating systems.

Additional information

There is an additional cost of £30 for materials.

Pay by instalments

The College offers an instalment plan for Further Education and Higher Education courses to students where the total amount payable at the point of enrolment is £200 or more. Within the scheme there is an ability to pay up to 7 instalments, depending on the length of the courses and the final payment must be paid at least a month before the end of the course.
