T Levels are two-year courses in England that can be studied by 16-18 year olds after finishing their GCSEs.
Your course starts with the essential knowledge and skills to work in health including how the industry works, core concepts and key regulations including managing information, health and safety and good clinical practice.
Entry requirements
Entry requirements are 5 GCSEs grade 4-9 (or A*-C) including English Language, Mathematics and Science.
We will also consider those who have a previous level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care or similar as long as English, maths and science GCSEs grade 4-9 (or A*-C) has also been achieved.

Essential:
A satisfactory reference and a clear DBS check is essential. It is a requirement of the industry that all those working and/or training in a Health & Social Care Setting must undergo a Disclosure Barring Services Check (DBS) at the enhanced level. Please be aware that if the DBS check comes back, with anything being flagged that may be of some concern, your application could be withdrawn.
Desirable:
Previous work experience with children, adults, in the community or a health and social care setting will support your application.

Placement will take place two days a week over the two years, with a two week block placement each year.
Placements will be offered in hospital, Care Homes, Nursing Homes and community clinics.
Assessment methods
You will be assessed through an externally set test and an employer-set project. Along with this there were be a synoptic assessment of performance outcomes, to determine whether a student meets the minimum competence requirements from your chosen specific field based on your performance in placement.

Course progression: T Levels get you work ready, but you can continue studying with a higher apprenticeship or degree. Higher Education programmes include Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Midwifery and a range of other health professions like Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy. Additional information
Learners should expect to be in college between 9am and 5pm on college days. Placement times can vary according to the setting. Holidays cannot be sanctioned during the college term. 100% attendance at college and placement is expected.
